BEGINNING QUILTING
We’ve revamped this class to make it easier and even more fun than
before. In this 5 session course, you will learn basic rotary
cutting and safety, 4 different machine piecing techniques and will
finish your quilt top in the last class! Students should be able to
complete each block in the time allowed so there won’t be any
homework. Eagle Creek will provide rotary mats and rulers for use in
class. You may even register to use one of our sewing machines.
Class size is small to provide maximum attention to each student.
Students should stop into the shop before class to pick out their
fabrics.
Class fee: $35.00

CLOTHESLINE BASKETS
Come enjoy the fun of creating this wonderful basket made from
clothes-line (yes, really!) and strips of fabric. Sandi will
show you how to “wrap and roll” the time away while you create your
own original piece of art. The project ideas are truly end-less for
this technique. You can even create a lid for your basket if you
wish. Check out the color picture on our website. This is a one
session class. Zig-zag stitch required.

We have designed this class specifically for our new quilting
students who have just completed Beginning Quilting with Lori. In
this one day class you will baste and machine quilt your class
project. Binding your quilt will also be covered.

MACHINE APPLIQUÉ
- advanced beginner
If you think of appliqué as the "A" word,
then this is the class for you! Join us to learn how to do perfect
machine appliqué. The possibilities are endless for quick appliqué
that looks like it could have been done by hand. All of our
beautiful appliqué quilts are created using this technique. Celine
Perkins designed a quick one day project for us and you will be
amazed at how fast and easy it is! Zig-zag sewing machine required.

MACHINE QUILTING FOR NEWBIES
(newbie def: one who is a beginner or inexperienced at a technique)
This class is designed for quilters who have either done a little
machine quilting on their own or who have never attempted it at all.
This comprehensive class covers everything you will need to know for
doing your own machine quilting. Class includes information on
needles, thread and batting. Students will learn to use the walking
foot and practice free motion quilting techniques as well. Class fee
includes fabric and batting.

MOONLIGHT LILY
What a great way to get a head start on your spring gardening. With
this delightful paper pieced pattern, you will learn the “backwards
and forwards” of paper piecing larger designs. Four sizes to choose
from and of course we are happy to help you color your lily garden
with our gorgeous batik fabrics.

great class to “cut loose and wing it” (pun
intended) while discovering your inner
