| The American Quilt Study
Group is an organization at the forefront of the effort to
preserve our quilting heritage. Each year the group hosts
their annual seminar in a different city. This year in
October, we are proud to be a part of the annual seminar here
in Minneapolis. This seminar brings together all segments of
the quilt community for three to four days of intense
engagement with quilt history, social context and design.
Research papers are presented along with show & tell, book and
quilt sales and auctions. Many Minnesota quilts and current
quilt makers will be featured in gallery shows throughout the
metro area. See side bar for exhibit locations and hours.
